Your students,
running growth
They join one of our seven companies and work with its founder every week.
Where our students and founders come from
“I run outreach for the whole studio and I report to the founder every week. I have never had an internship where the work was this real.”

Will McMullan
University of Chicago
Who we are
Founder Ventures is a venture studio for bootstrapped, product-led B2B SaaS founders. Rome Rogers founded it with Brian Flynn, who has 26 companies and 10 exits behind him, including Macromedia to Adobe.
What the student does
The role is the same shape at every company: growth and outreach, remote, reporting to that company's founder. Research the market, run the outreach, and build the AI workflows that run it.
- 15 hours a week, minimum
- More if your programme allows it and the student wants it.
- Your term length
- We fit your calendar. A student can stay for a second term if both sides want it.
- Remote, anywhere
- We take students in any country. There is no office and no daily check-in.

Where it leads
Intern
The student runs growth at one company for a term. They report to that company's founder.
Operator
A strong intern stays on and works across our companies. They own a channel rather than a task.
Runs a company
An operator takes a seat running one of our companies. They hold real equity in it.
Founds one
A founder starts the next company with us. The studio supplies the playbooks and the network.
What we are asking for
We work with programmes that already fund their students. That funding can be a stipend, course credit, or a payment tied to performance.
Place a funded student with us
Your stipend follows the student. The student works with one of our founders for the term. You pay only the funding you already award.
Point your student founders at us
Some of your students finish your programme with a working product. They do not have an obvious next step. We recruit at that point.
